Trends in the area of computer graphics and interactive techniques aspire tools that support content creation and manipulation. Contributions to computer graphics such as 2D or 3D modeling, animation, rendering and imaging along with the emerging interactive techniques open up a broad space for developing specialized platforms that promote creativity, design, discovery, innovation, and composition. The SIGGRAPH Asia Workshop on Designing Tools for Crafting Interactive Artifacts aims at aspiring ideas on creativity support tools for multisensory or interactive content creation, including design, evaluation and theoretical implications. The workshop also provides a platform for discussions on the challenges and the subsequent research opportunities in developing such tools.
